“GOD CONNECTS” ADULT CATECHISM CLASS “God Connects” is a video-based class designed to explain the teachings of our Lutheran Church. This six-week class will meet on Sunday afternoons at St. John, Oxford from 1:00 –3:00 pm. Class begins on Sunday, May 18th. Please note: although this class is being held at St. John, Oxford (because St. John has the audiovisual equipment necessary for the video portion), “God Connects” is being offered for membership from BOTH our churches. BIBLE READING CHALLENGE: Book of Acts Thanks to all who took up the challenge to read the Gospel of John during the season of Lent, and were blessed in the reading. Your next challenge, in the seven weeks of Easter to come, is to read the continuing story of Easter and the beginnings of the Christian Church in the Book of Acts.
