NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER—May 7th, 2026
250 Years of Grace
(and Hope for Years to Come)
Both churches of our Dual Parish, as well as the community around us, are invited to join with the rest of our
nation in observance of the Annual National Day of Prayer. We join together for 250 years of God’s grace to this
country we love, and also to seek God’s help and mercy for the years that lie ahead of us.

An outdoor observance will be held at the new Veteran’s Memorial in Packwaukee, adjacent to the library, beginning
at 12 Noon. An indoor worship & prayer service will be held in the sanctuary at St. John, Oxford, beginning at 6:00 pm.

We would like this to be a community event, so please let your friends and neighbors know about what we’re doing
and invite them to come.

Orphan Grain Train

Orphan Grain Train provides clothing, furniture, medical supplies, and household items to needy persons, both here in our country and around the world. Please bring your new or gently used clothing or other items to church, and Pastor will see that they are delivered. (There is a list of needed and acceptable items posted on the bulletin boards in the narthex of both our churches). The Westfield, WI branch of Orphan Grain Train, located at 486 N. Main St. (next to the high school), is always in need of volunteers to help sort and pack. Volunteer hours are Tuesdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. All are invited to come for a tour and see what it’s all about. “What you did for the least of these brothers of mine, you did for Me.”
